Shelter + Care

This program provides long-term rental assistance for homeless persons with disabilities such as mental illness or substance abuse. Referrals and supportive services come from our county certified community agencies.

 

 

Families in Transition

Better known as Project FIT this program provides provides rental assistance and intensive supportive services to homeless families who are seeking greater stability and permanent housing..

RISE and GAP

Short term subsidies for those experiencing homelessness and need that boost to get back on their feet. These HUD funds also help provide childcare, transportation and counseling, to those experiencing homelessness throughout Kent County.

Low cost, safe, non-subsidized rental housing available to families and individuals who have difficulty securing housing through traditional methods.

 

 

 

Eviction Prevention

Prevents homelessness by providing a onetime payment for rent or mortgage for persons who experienced a verifiable emergency, but who can afford future payments.
