Community Rebuilders, a leading advocate for homelessness solutions, is thrilled to announce the beta testing phase of Community Housing Connect (CHC) 2.0, a cutting-edge system set to transform Kent County’s Coordinated Entry System. This milestone marks a significant leap forward in our mission to provide enhanced support for individuals experiencing homelessness, driven by direct input from those it aims to serve.

Your Impact in the Design: CHC 2.0’s design has been meticulously crafted with insights from focus groups consisting of individuals with lived experience of homelessness. Your invaluable voices have played a pivotal role in shaping the system thus far. As we embark on the beta testing phase, we invite you to continue guiding us toward excellence.

Beta Testing Phase – A Call for Your Participation: We are actively seeking individuals who have navigated homelessness to partake in our beta testing program. Your feedback will be instrumental in ensuring CHC 2.0 is intuitive, efficient, and meets real-world needs effectively.

What’s Involved:

  • Participation in a 1-hour orientation session and a 1.5-hour testing session.
  • Compensation: A $10 transportation stipend upon attending the orientation meeting and a $70 payment upon completion of the testing session. Additional compensation for further testing may also be available. All compensation is provided via Visa gift cards.
  • Spanish translation services are available.

Who We Need: We are looking for individuals who have experienced homelessness and are willing to commit to all testing sessions. No technology experience required!

  • Orientation Dates:
    • Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 10:30am and 12:30pm
    • Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 3:30pm and 5:30pm
  • Testing Dates:
    • Monday, May 13 at 3:30pm and 5:30pm
    • Tuesday, May 14 at 10:30am and 12:30pm
    • Saturday, May 18 at 11:00am and 1:00pm
  • Strict health and safety protocols will be observed during all sessions.
